The Academy for Learning Through the Arts (ALTA) Public Charter School has made the difficult decision to relinquish its charter and has ceased academic operations as of June 30, 2010.  The ALTA business office will remain open for the purpose of transitioning the student population and closing business operations. 

We wish to thank our wonderful students, their parents and guardians for supporting ALTA the past five years and special thanks to our teachers, staff and leadership. It has been a privilege to serve the educational needs of the children of the District of Columbia.

We wish you every success for the future.
